College of Arts, Media, and Design - Northeastern University

OVERVIEW

Northeastern University’s College of Arts, Media, and Design offers courses and spaces for exploration and innovation in communication, design and the arts. Jones Architecture worked with the College to update high impact areas and improve the overall functionality of spaces and encourage more collaboration. The renovations include a new lobby experience for students, teachers and administrators, which expresses the vibrant, innovative, and exploratory nature of the College itself. In addition, select classrooms and consolidated administrative/office suites have new furniture, finishes, and lighting, which give a contemporary look to a forward-thinking organization. A large, open conference room, reception and waiting space, and light-filled private offices create a more collaborative atmosphere with improved functionality and connectivity between staff members. .
