Matthews Arena Scoreboard Replacement
Northeastern University, Boston, MA
Jones replaced the existing center hung scoreboard and all of the infrastructure the serves it with new HD displays selected by Northeastern Athletics. We studied the existing sound system infrastructure in the arena and provided design recommendations to modernize the system. Upgrades included: structural reinforcement to arena roof truss system required to accommodate the new rigging and displays, infrastructural improvements to power and data, and any necessary additional design/construction required to create/upgrade technology spaces/rack rooms around the arena.
